Public Relations Officer
Databrandix is hiring a Public Relations Officer to be the voice behind our brand — crafting the executive thought leadership, media relationships, and stories that position us as a leader in education industry. About the role
Databrandix is looking for a Public Relations Officer to own how our brand shows up in public and inside our own walls. You'll draft executive speeches, op-eds, articles, and press notes that establish Databrandix as a thought leader in the education industry. Day to day, you'll build and protect our reputation: nurturing relationships with universities, influencers, and industry partners; monitoring coverage and public sentiment; and preparing timely, brand-safe responses when it matters most. You'll shape authentic student enrollment stories, case studies, and testimonials, and work closely with our Social Media, SEO, Marketing, Content, Creative, and Sales teams to keep our messaging consistent across every channel. You'll also help plan press releases, events, interviews, and campaigns tied to real company goals — and be ready to travel to project sites and events across Dhaka when needed. We're looking for a sharp writer and calm communicator who understands that a brand's voice is built on both great storytelling and ethical, accurate messaging. What you'll do
- Draft executive speeches, articles, press notes, and op-eds to position Databrandix as a thought leader in the education-focused digital marketing space.
- Develop and circulate internal communications (announcements, achievements, updates) to ensure transparency and a positive organizational environment.
- Work with the Social Media Team to synchronize PR updates with digital content and manage public interactions during sensitive or high-visibility discussions.
- Coordinate with internal departments—SEO, Marketing, Content, Creative, and Sales—to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
- Create and manage student enrollment stories, case studies, and testimonials for promotional campaigns while maintaining authenticity and ethical standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, influencers, and industry partners to enhance brand visibility.
- Monitor media coverage, track public sentiment, and recommend communication strategies to protect and enhance the company’s reputation.
- Willingness to travel and visit projects within Dhaka for presentations, promotional activities, and official events as required.
- Support crisis communication efforts by preparing timely, accurate, and brand-safe responses when necessary.
What you bring
- Minimum 1 year in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or a media-related role.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree from any reputed university.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Experience in the education, non-profit, or digital agency sector is a strong advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, editing, and storytelling.
